Up for sale is an antique Chinese Qing dynasty embroidered dragon silk robe, Jifu, with nine 5-clawed dragons executed in couched gold wrapped threads; clouds, Buddhist & Taoist auspicious symbols, bats, sea waves, and standing water ( Lishui) are executed in brick stitch.Overall is in excellent condition, no frays across shoulders' folding lines. Measurements : 54" from collar to bottom, 27" between arm pits, 85" across shoulders when stretched open, bottom width 42"

Antique Chinese black dragon and phoenix priest's robe. Roundels embroidered with gold phoenix and dragon with clouds and waves. Silver and gold thread with red and green couching stitches. On the back of the robe there is a peach and jewels and the wheel of life on large back panel. Small overall wear and discoloration. 40" long x 62" sleeve to sleeve. Republic period. Circa 1900-1920s.

Beautiful Chinese antique court lady's skirt, made all of different colored silk, all folded and sewn into tiny pleats, edges embroidered with scenes of birds and flowers, two larger panels have applied rectangles of silk minutely embroidered with birds and tiny bats and a design in gold thread. circa 1900. Beautiful antique Chinese sleeveless robe with bright green ribbon closure, made of light pink silk with a robin's egg blue silk interior lining. Both the front and back of the robe features gold thread circular designs with two young maidens relaxing, surrounded by flowers. The vest is outlined in light golden-beige panels with colorful birds, deer, and vegetation. Size: 36.5" tall, 28.75" wide

Up for sale is an antique Chinese Manchu woman's informal domestic robe; 19th century; trims embroidered with flowers and butterflies, and purple silk damask ground embroidered with dragon roundels, backed with light blue silk. Front enclosure to the right with 4 large gilt toggle-and-loop buttons. The robe is in good condition, vibrant colors! Rank badges were to be worn on the front of a robe to show ranking and status of the elite in imperial China during the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties...

Up for sale is an antique Chinese Qing Dynasty silk brocade panel, a pair of woven dragon with gold threads taken from the lower part of a dragon robe, early 18th century - Blue color silk satin ground, very fine. Overall in good condition. Minor loss to weaving. Measurements- 38" x 19"

A Chinese paired apron wraparound silk gored skirt, woven in tapestry (kesi, kossu, k'o-suu) technique with some silver wrapped threads and painted details, attached to an undyed cotton waistband and trimmed by a brocaded band. The panels are showing an imperial imagery of the celestial landscape with five-clawed dragons and phoenixes, against a green ground. The "long" dragons were probably covered by peacock feathers, rarely survived to the present days...
