This pair of earmuffs are kept together with a silk ribbon. Worn to protect the ears in winter, the outer side has delicate embroidered flower motif, and the inside is slightly padded and has ear pockets which slip of the ears.

This traditional summer weight Manchu style (side closing)vest is from late Qing Dynasty. The lush deep blue silk fabric has a jacquard weave with an all over fret design. The lining is of deep maroon silk..the vest is entirely hand sewn, and fits a small to medium size woman.

Beautiful purse embroidered on both sides in counted stitch with bats in gold thread among blue clouds. Yellow colored drawstring,tassels and silk lining. Condition: fine. Little patina, yellow silk faded, the blue silk lining with stained area, one end of drawstring is loose. Dimension: 10.8 cm x 6.3 cm x 2 cm, weight: 42 g.

Beautifully embroidered robe with the twelve zodiac signs and 8 dragons. An abundance of gold thread was used to embroider the robe. The animals of the zodiac are on a gold ground encircled by a leafed border. The dragons have four claws and are within a circle on blue clouds. The robe is adorned with men, women and children dispersed with an interwoven symbol and swastikas. It measures 62" wide by 42" long.

A blue silk twill gauze men's jifu decorated in gold couched thread with eight four-clawed mang dragons pursuing flaming pearls amidst clouds and bats. Few details executed in colored silk, silver brocade edging. The bottom is embroidered with waves, stylized rocks and the "lishui" pattern. Magnificent robe with fine embroidery with lots of gold thread on a red silk ground.There are 5 buttons made of solid gold, weighing ca. 8 grams each. The robe is in a very good condition, only some lose threads and light discoloring. H. 128 cm, W. 145 cm. This piece dates from the 2nd half of the 19th century.
