Sold. Thank you. A blue-grey glazed pottery form of a large-eyed turtle. The turtle shell has relief patterns over which a glaze was applied.
Period: Song (10th - 13th Century, China) Size: Length = 5.5 cm from head to tail. Height = 3.8 cm Condition: Very good. No breaks. Natural crackle in the glaze from age.

$300.00 Small phosphatic glazed earthenware jar with double handles. Reddish brown clay covered with dull black glaze with several mottled white glaze splashes. Jun-type pottery as made in the Tang dynasty, China, 19th century or earlier.
Height 5 ¾ inches (14.9 cm). Black glaze dull, showing water streaks, one chip on back of one of the loop handles, some dirt residue. Otherwise good condition. Standing on hexagon stand with his left arm outstretched, right arm clasped to his chest, wearing tall red hat, painted in green costume glazed.
