An antique Japanese Tansu chest called Kotansu made entirely of Kirinoki (Paulownia) wood. All original bronze and iron hardware including the Warabite handles. Locks feature a Chrysanthemum motif and the door handles display stylized clouds. Two sliding doors open to a spacious storage area and five drawers used for additional storage and organizing. Constructed using straight dovetail joinery and hardened wooden nails.

Chinese Red Lacquer on Natural tree Branch Wood Walking Stick or Cane, carved Scholar Handle, 30" high, 9 1/2" wide-carved Scholar Handle, naturally polished by using for many years, tip of handle shows some lacquer loses.

Japanese Green Kutani Stoneware Dish, 8 1/4" diameter, 1 3/8" high, with very design of two(2) horses, one is white, other horse is gold, with attendant enjoying two(2) Birds singing on the tree branches in the Forest, surrounded with ornate intricate macramé design in Orange and green overglaze Border. Signed on the bottom "KUTANI" on top of the dark orange color inside the bottom rim, and black scrolling Vine design on top of the overglaze Green. The condition is good, no damages.

Rare table size Chinese white jadeite snuff bottle with apple green and emerald green markings along with some blushes of lavender. Nicely carved in a reticulated openwork design, it is in excellent condition measuring 5.25" high x 3.25 across. On stand it measures 6.125"

A pair of massive museum quality matching pottery figures of a male and female attendants, middle Ming Dynasty, 15th.-16th. century.

The figures are matching in torquise and cobalt glazes and stands on large plints. The male figure in this pair was Termo-Luminescence testet by Ralf Kotallas Laboratory and it was made during the Middle Ming period (15th.-16th. cent.). He is holding a teapot.

This little guy is just about the cutest thing I have ever seen. A tiny mouse rests atop a bulging white radish, bristling blue leaves in full detail attached as if pulled fresh from the ground. WOODEN WINDOW FRAMES OF YANGBAN'S HOUSE

Early 20th century, Korea. approx. 51 x 33 x 3.5cm each (20.07 x 12.99 x 1.37in). Such refined craftsmanship of characteristic unilateral rounded lattice facing outward tells this pieces were actually installed in the residence of Yangban (ref. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yangban) at that time. Also its unique iron fittings and handle are tasteful. Deterioration due to aging, but still substantial make as is.
