Delicate and rare Chinese Porcelain Polychrome Cachepot Planter with matching Base Saucer. Both have 4 Character Tao Kuang Period Markings (1822-1850). Planter has 2 holes for drainage. This rare piece, exquisitely suited for an orchid in bloom or special small plant comes with it's own fine and original hand carved rosewood stand as illustrated. Museum quality piece. The front decorated with two dragons and the flaming pearl, the back decorated with bats, the standing rim decorated with colorful flower bands, both on the inside and outside. China, 19th century. Dimensions: 22 x 15,5 cm. Condition: excellent. A similar tray can be found in the catalogue of the opium exhibition at Kunsthal Rotterdam (collection F. Bertholet and C. Hoogendoorn) page 177 and 178.(see pictures)

Beautiful 18th century black stone schist of vishnu with four arms. The arms hold a flower, a talisman with a 5 point star, a chile, and one hand is open palm outward with a dot in the middle. There are two attendants, one on either side. It measures 20" tall by 10" wide. Has metal base 4" deep.

Rare Japanese spear (Yari) from the early 19th century. striking blade with three edges. Lacquered red cap to protect blade. Hand forged iron fittings.

A truly wonderful piece, this large Qingbai censer. The lobed body on curved feet which are decorated with masks. The bowl of the censer was made in two parts, a horizontal line is clearly visible on both the inside and outside. China, Song Dynasty (960-1279). Dimensions: H. 17,5 cm , Diameter 16 cm. Condition: Perfect, no damage or repairs. The glaze is crackled and there is age wear to the glaze at the mouth rim and on the protruding parts.

An interesting antique carved jade artwork, the carver skilfully utilized the natural color of the jade stone, and carved as a duck caught a fish in his mouth.

Antique Chinese scroll painting of 5 large carp swimming in pond with lotus and other water plants. Painted in ink and light colors on paper. Artist signature and seal by Li Fang Yin (1696–1755), known as one of the Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou. Inscription reads "Qianlong 8th Year, third month, Li, Fangying of Qingjiang". Size of painting: 49 1/4" high x 24 3/4" wide Size of scroll: 75 3/4" high x 31" wide

A colorful back buzi with a bear for a man, denoting the fifth military rank. Silk tapestry (kossu, k'o-suu) with metallic threads and painted details, the background covered by peacock feathers, which rarely survived to the present days. Blue silk lining. Reference: Ladder to the Clouds, Jackson & Hugus Berkeley 1999, page 197 - No. 13.018 very similar badge. Condition: fine, minimal traces of wear. Dimensions: 29 cm high x 31.6 cm wide.
