Antique Japanese taiko drum, made from keyaki wood, with an iron handle on its front and iron studding to keep the drum skins into place. Size: 14" wide diameter on top and bottom x 18" high. A pear shaped small celadon vase, decorated with molded incised floral sprays and attached two ears to the shoulder, covered overall with rather dark green glaze like indicated on pictures. Yuan dynasty 13th-14th century Longquan ware. Condition is very good near perfect except one unglazed area visible on enlargement 4, otherwise is perfect with no any chip, no crack and free from restoration. High: 11.5 cm.

Wonderful Indian bronze altar with the Hindu god Vishnu flanked by two female consorts, the three figures stand together on a raised platform with the four armed Vishnu in the center, a many headed naga (cobra snake) opens it's hood like an umbrella over Vishnu's head, a flat nimbus behind the figures depicts tendrils of water flowing from the mouths of two makara.
