Chinese Yuan to Ming dynasty Longquan celadon dish with everted barbed rim, the center nicely carved with a floral pattern surrounded by stylized incised floral patterns on the cavetto. The glaze is crackled overall. The underside is decorated with vertical ribbing. The characteristic unglazed burnt orange ring is within the glazed ringed foot. 10 3/8" diameter x 2" high. Fu dogs on each vase, are standing on a cloud, neck arched up looking at the sun, and a floating buddhist sutra box. A peony and lotus flower, grace both vases in red, and swirly clouds hang up above. Bottom of vases are encircled with red clouds. As for this, a pattern is Eba-gara. Three carps swim in the water like a brick.
In the Hanada-colored ground, three bold carps and waterweeds with the force are expressed in indigo dyeing Shibori.
This cotton is spun by hand. And it is a smooth good-quality texture item.

already sold This is a very nice and very old Buddha statue from Lopburi depicted with royal attire such as crown, ear rings, belt , necklace and more. The Buddha is sitting in a position of calling the earth to witness. This statue was originally found in a property of Lopburi civilian which was buried under earth about 24 inches deep. The overall condition of the statue is very good, just only a few spots of oxidation reaction. No repairs. This is very nice proof of Siam and Khmer art in 1... Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period porcelain lidded wine pot or ewer moulded in the form of the character "fu" (good fortune) and decorated in famille noire enamels on the biscuit. The body is densely covered in a pattern of green tendrils and chrysanthemums set against a black background. A central figural panel features an attendant fanning the God of Wealth (Caishen).
