SOLD Antique Japanese lacquer Tebako, cosmetic box. Made of lacquered wood and decorated all over with scenes of flying geese in gold lacquer with raised details on a black lacquer ground, Silver lacquer bull rushes with golden leaves bend in the wind. The interior is lined with very old silk brocade. Meiji Period (1868-1912) . Size : 9 1/4" high x 11 1/2" long x 9" wide.

Sold Chinese porcelain figure of Zhongli Quan, one of the Eight Immortals in Chinese culture or Taoism. His attribute is a fan which is said to bring the dead back to life and turn stone into gold or silver. He wears an open robe with gilt accenting, and comes with a fitted hand carved hardwood stand.

Sold Chinese porcelain figure of Li Tieguai, one of the Eight Immortals in Chinese culture or Taoism. He is temperamental but compassionate towards the sick and needy, who he heals using special medicine from the gourd he carries around his waist. He is shown here walking with a crutch, with a blue band around his head and gilt accented robes. Wonderful original Condition. Republic Period (circa 1930's).

SOLD An unusual Japanese Kyogen theater mask of a dog.
Kyogen is a major form of classical Japanese musical drama that has been performed since the 14th century. One of the oldest major theatre art still regularly performed today.
Overall in good condition with original finish. Mounted on steel plates and armature wire presentation.

Lan's gender is always shown in an androgynous manner. The figure's earholes, nostrils, and mouth are pierced through. The bright enamel robes are accented in gilt pigment. Porcelain charger glazed in blue and white and copper red. Diameter 27 cm. Jiajing period (1796-1820). Some chips to the rim, but no cracks or repairs.
A rare example of the wellknown Tibetan cups, with high quality repoussé silver depicting Buddhist symbols and a mask at the bottom.. H. 5,5 cm. Diameter 12 cm. This piece dates from the 19th to early 20th century. Made of high grade silver. Good age wear.

Sold, Thank you! Copper greens splash this bold chawan by Kojima Kenji enclosed in the original signe wooden box. It is 5 inches (12.5 cm) diameter, 3-3/4 inches (9 cm) tall and in fine condition.
Kojima Kenji was born in Aichi prefecture in 1953, and graduated the Tokoname Ceramics High School in 1971. He moved to Iga where he studied and was immediately accepted into the Asahi Togeiten Ceramics Exhibition.
