A Ming dynasty 16th century Hongzhi period blue and white bowl, decorated with a lovely painted of a pair Mandarin ducks swimming among Lotus pond. Condition is very good, with no any crack and free from any restoration, excepted minor kiln material adhere to the interior rim and tiny flake to inside the foot rim. Diameter: 14,6 cm.

Rare of pear shaped vase, decorated with purple splash to the body and stand on sky blue glazed. The vase is connected with the stand. Yuan Dynasty 13th-14th century. Condition is excellent, with no any chip, no any crack and free from any restoration. Height: 21 cm.

Japanese copper 10-pronged antler shaped meadate from a kabuto (samurai helmet). On custom stand.

Heisei Period

Dimensions: 9" total height (6 1/4" high meadate only)

Chinese small carved jade ink stone and brush washer in one piece. The ink stone side is carved with a leaning pine tree and mist. Turned on its reverse side, it functions as a brush washer. The sides are incised with a key fret motif.

19th century

Dimensions: 3 1/8" long x 2 1/2" wide x 1/2" deep.

A small Japanese bronze vase, finely cast with lotus blossoms in relief. The upper and lower body cast with bands of archaic scrolls. The side handles are dragon heads with hanging rings. The side is marked with artist's two character seal.

Small Indian Jain bronze of a seated Vishnu. His wife, Lakshmi is seated on his left knee. Vishnu hold his attributes, the conch shell in his upper right hand and Sudarshana Chakra (discus) in his upper left. Patina and traces of vermillion pigment. The faces of both deities are smooth from years of reverent handling.

18th century

2 3/4" high x 1 7/8" wide x 1 1/2" deep.

A lidded container in a divided, compressed form of finely, carved bamboo root. Good luck bringing Bats (bianfu) carved in relief decorate the sides and lid. Bottom with a la grec pattern. Mid Qing, around 1800. H 10 cm, W 8.2 cm. Condition: Very good. Traces of wear. One short crack on the middle part of the bottom panel filled.

A rare pair of Buddhist Lions figurine, the female is carry a lion boy and the male is carry a ball and both with vividly carved incised details. Covered overall with white grayish glazed or so call as Thianpai glaze. Yuan dynasty mid-14th century in excellent condition, no any chip, no any crack and free from restoration. Acquired in Taipei around year of 1993' . Height each: 8,5 cm.

The everted flanges are joined to the end of the top and rail, and the spandrel is of two scrolling dragons carved in low relief. The legs of the table rest on horizontal feet. Between the legs are a carved pendant of double motifs of ruyi scepters and pair of scrolling dragons.

This white porcelain statue depicts a small seated Bodhisattva deep in meditation. Bodhisattva, otherwise known as bosatsu in Japan, are enlightened beings who have postponed Buddha-hood in order to remain on earth and help others to break their cycles of karma. The base of this statue is unglazed showing the fine porcelain clay from which it is crafted. The seal of the Imperial Court Artist who fashioned it can be seen clearly impressed on the unglazed base.
