A Rare early celadon dish with well balance potted in flower shaped dish, decorated with incised peacock to interior, plain to exterior. Possibly Northern Song or later Yue ware. Condition is perfect except have many black spots impurities under the glaze. Diameter: 16 cm.

Bashofu kimono hand-woven of banana fiber for both wefts and warps. The yarn is rather thicker and tougher comparing with very fine yarn for thinner and higher quality bashofu, so that it is for a everyday kimono or work wear. Brown stripes are also banana fibers. Late 19th to early 20th century. In good condition except for a mending near the lower side in the back and wear near neck. 104cm x 115cm

Gloriously painted rare round fan of Court maiden in garden with peony flowers and bamboo grove, her beckoning gestures alluding to a secret rendezvous. Reverse with gold flecked silk backed paper, encased in a hardwood frame. Faux bamboo hardwood handle. Good condition.

Lovely antique Chinese blue and white porcelain gourd shaped vase with charming design of bats flying in the clouds. Perfect condition. Six character mark on recessed bottom. Xuantong 1909-1912, kaishu mark in regular script. Demonstrates clearly a feature that is often called hollow or fractured, line. The decoration of the piece, iron red bats among clouds is in a distinctly different style as compared to similarly decorated pieces of the previous reign.
