Fine Korean Koryo Dynasty Bronze Bowl, Spoon & Chopsticks

This fine, high quality bronze bowl and utensils were made during the Koryo Dynasty (AD 918 - 1392) but more specifically during the 13th century. The wall of the bowl is particularly thin as it was made by the spinning technique as opposed to having been cast (see below for more information). Korean Glazed Porcelain Bowl - Joseon Dynasty

This heavily-potted bowl was made during the latter part of the Joseon (Choson) Dynasty (1392 - 1910), probably the 18th or 19th century. It is delightfully "coarse" in its potting and coated in a cream/honey coloured glaze, the thickness of which varies. Around the centre inner surface is a ring of twelve kiln spacer scars from where another vessel was fired inside this bowl, also minor signs of wear from use...

Korean 19th Century / Choson Blue & White Porcelain Jar in Box

This porcelain jar of globular form was made during the 19th century toward the latter part of the Choson (Joseon) Dynasty. The underglaze blue decoration comprises floral patterns and two bands surrounding the neck. It is quite "heavily-potted" and there are couple of firing bubbles, no doubt due to the thickness of the clay. There is kiln grit embedded within the glaze to the base.

A large Korean brass bowl that was used for mixing and preparing food in the kitchen during the late Joseon Dynasty. The bowl has been shaped and formed by pounding the brass(wrought). The resulting hammering marks can be seen on the surface of the bowl. The bowl measures 4 1/2" high x 13 3/4" in diameter, and dates to the early 20th Century. The condition is excellent, and it has been kept shined. The asking price includes shipping within the USA.

KOREAN WOODEN RITUAL TRAY

Originally actually used as the traditional ritual tray for votive offering in Korean Peninsula in early 20th century. Appliable to flower stand as well. approx. 22.5 x 22 x H 10.5cm (8.85 x 8.66 x 4.13in)...

"Bun-in" is the last kiln for Joseon court. And there, high quality and sophisticated works were made. This piece with autumn flower has "wabi-sabi" feeling. In spite of damage of mouth, the repair part by lacquer and gold rather give more "wabi-sabi" feeling...

A Very Fine and Beautiful White Glazed/High Footed Bowl-19th C.: Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century. The bowl, set on a slightly flared high ring footed and with slightly everted mouth rim, decorated in a white blue-tinged, warm and clear glaze applied overall evenly, with sand traces on the foot rim. It’s in very fine condition but a small chip on the foot rim (see photo), measures 6.6cm h. x 8.3cm d.
