An interesting square porcelain brush pot with a long inscription of the Chu Shi Biao composed by the 3rd century strategist, Zhuge Liang. The inscription makes the argument that the state of Shu Han must fight against Cao Wei. The calligrapher at the end signs and dates the piece: The 23rd Year of Kangxi, (inscribed by) Wen Fang. A white porcelain "Blanc-de-Chine" Buddhist Lion incense stick holder in similar style to the larger Guardian Lions which are frequently to be found at the entrances to Buddhist temples...

Decorated with Fo dogs, typical for the Jiajing period (1522-1566). H. 17 cm. The lid also dates from the Ming Dynasty but was matched with the jar. Condition: the jar is in very good condition, the lid has a chip.

This is another antique wine bottle of the Song Dynasty from our collection.

This large wine bottle is about 1000 years old and has been made in the Ji Kiln. It has a dark glazed body with an some unglazed dragon / phoenix decoration.

It is in good condition. There are only some little spoils of time and a little scratch ( please watch photos )...

Chinese Qing dynasty ornately carved rootwood fly-whisk handle. Fly-whisks were carried by Buddhist priests to wave away flies which, according to Buddhist tenets, they could not kill. The fly-whisk is also a symbol of leadership. 19th century. 10 3/8" long. Very good overall condition with a nice patina. There are a few thin cracks visible in the enlargements. This piece is from the private collection of American expatriates who lived in Hong Kong in the 1970s and 1980s...

Chinese pair of ox bow arm chairs made of beautiful golden huanghuali wood, dramatic grain, carved with character on back rest, elegant lines, mid 20th century. Total size of each chair: 39 1/2" high x 26 1/2" wide x 25 1/2" deep. (seat: 24" high x 18 3/4" deep.)

A vibrant Chinese cloisonné round covered box with lotus flowers and scrolling tendrils on a black ground. with fish scale pattern. With no condition issues, this lovely box measures 2.5” high by 3.5” in diameter. Marked CHINA on bottom, we date this circa 1900.

Chinese Pottery Tomb Lady Figure with partially glazed with amber to brownish robe, and hands tucked under the robe, 10 3/8" high, 2 3/4" wide, 2" deep, light brownish amber color drip glaze robe ran down to the bottom, with unglazed head and bottom feet area with some tiny old rounded chips to larger chip about 1/2" wide on the right upper arm area on the Brownish glaze.

A European shape porcelain tea caddy painted in underglaze blue depicting houses and pavillions in a river landscape. This item was made in Jingdezhen (southern China) for export to Europe, circa 1760-1780, during the reign of the Qianlong emperor. A rare and finely carved 18th Century Chinese "honey yellow" soapstone Luohan, probably Damo (Bodhidarma). On the back is carved "made by Shang Jun". Condition - very good. This item was originally set with semi-precious stones but, with the exception of one white stone on the collar behind the neck, all are now missing; there are natural "flaws" intrinsic to the stone which pre-date the carving. There have been no repairs and there has been no restoration. 9cm (3.5ins) high...

Chinese Ceramic seated Duck, before 1920, 1 7/8" high, 2" x 1" wide, with original imperfection, no damage.

This is a Tibeto-Chinese bronze Buddha from the 19th. century. It has a unique design with lots of miniature Buddhas applicated.

Rests of gilt are still visible.

It has a size of 22 cm height, width 17 cm x 13 cm and the weight is 2,4kg.

Kraak porcelain export dish from the Wanli period (1573-1619). Diameter 14,8 cm. , H. 4,5 cm. Condition: very minor flea bites to the rim, a 6 mm rough spot in the glaze on the rim, probably a firing flaw. No cracks or repairs. Some oven sand attached to the foot rim.
