Lovely Song Dynasty brown straw glaze jar with four ears. The jar is thin walled and nicely shaped and proportioned. There is expected ware to glaze, but otherwise it is in excellent condition. A wondreful Chinese wood panel with three goats, an auspicious symbol of peace, harmony and good fortune. The panel was painted with red lacquer and then gold gilt was applied. As a decorative piece it would look great over hung over a doorway or above a large painting. In very good condition, it measures just short of 24 inches long by 7 3/4" high.

A black glazed bowl with well balance potted and covered overall with a rich and very fine black. Condition is excellent, no any chip, no any crack and free from any restoration. Song/Yuan Dynasty Fujian Jian ware. Diameter: 9 cm.

A very rare example of early Ming Hongwu period, with shallow and conical form, decorated with continuously peony scrolls inside and outside. The copper-red glazed is successful done, but have a firing crack and minor imperfection unglazed area. above the foot rim. Diameter: 24 cm and Height: 7,3 cm.

A large brown glazed bowl to the interior and just a bit glaze to exterior rim, big portion is unglazed. Tang Dynasty possibly Henan ware. Condition is very good, no any chip, no crack and free from restoration. Diameter: 21,5 cm.

A well carved small jade disc of a Han dragon in two colors. The back is carved with a stylized cloud motif. Size: Diameter. 2.5cm. Condition: No repairs.

A nice shaped polychrome Guan Jar, decorated with incised three color/Sancai glazed. Possibly Northern Song Dynasty Cizhou ware. Very good condition near perfect, no any chip, no any crack and free from any restoration.

A pair of Chinese bamboo horseshoe chairs, of steam bent, tied, pegged and notched construction. The continuous horseshoe rail and arm rest has tied, cane split bamboo throughout the furniture. It is made to secure and create a decorative pattern. The open back slat frame has a geometric Shou pattern and a double happiness motif. The woven rattan seated is hard mounted on wood, front apron bent with four bamboo forming the square seat...

A pair funny Chinese lions, the male leaning his paw upon a embroidered ball and the female with a small cub, both sitting on a pierced stand. Each carved from a single piece of boxwood. Dimension: c. 10. 3 cm high. Condition: few tiny losses and cracks.

Contemporary

Chinese round table of natural gnarled, twisted hardwood roots, and a transparent russet lacquer. The table is constructed in two parts- The trunk-like pedestal base and the rooted edge, round top. This type of natural root furniture goes back to the 12th century aesthetic. Here is an example of the round center table produced during the Republic period, bearing the colonial form true to the Victorian Era.

Chinese brush washer carved from agate, of a lingzhi mushroom form with smaller lingzhi sprigs carved underneath. The white agate stone contains natural inclusions with areas of orange coloration.

It is amazing that about half of the snuff still remains in this bottle. Lacking a stopper, it was stuffed with tissue when we received it. We added the stopper for display purposes. The scene surrounding the bottle depicts a person riding a buffalo towards a mountain range while pointing behind him to the man with an umbrella. The bottle has a network of crackles stained over to a pale brownish tone. There are some pin pricks from firing, maybe bits of ash. Dates 1800s. 3 inches high.

Near perfect pair of fuschia colored silk Chinese lotus shoes for bound feet. Each shoe is embroidered with delicate gold couching and a silk satin stitched butterfly. In excellent condition they have been packed and stored in a box for the past century. Color is vibrant having not been exposed to sunlight.

Early 20th century Chinese stone carving of a boy playing his bamboo flute while sitting on a resting buffalo. Nice details, excellent condition. Presented on a Chinese rosewood stand. Approximately 9.5 inches long x 5" high.

A charming little blue and white Chinese water dropper in excellent condition without hairlines or restoration. Circa 1900-10, it measures 2 inches high.

A Rare ivory white glazed dish, unglazed foliated rim and thin potted, decorated with carved incised of a Dragon to interior center, underside is plain and showing some 'teardrops' effect. Three character mark on base. Song/Jin Dynasty Hebei Ding ware in excellent condition. Diameter: 19,6 cm.
