Sold, Thank You USA A very rare Southern Song dynasty official Guanyao celadon bowl, covered overall with bluish green glazed under large crackled pattern. Condition with slight large missing piece to rim, showing inside with thinly blackish clay and thick celadon glaze, absolutely 'open door' sign of Song Guan wares bowl and typical of valuable example for study to treasure bowl. Diameter: 17,5 cm and Height: 6,5 cm.
This traditional summer weight Manchu style (side closing)vest is from late Qing Dynasty.
The lush deep blue silk fabric has a jacquard weave with an all over fret design.
The lining is of deep maroon silk..the vest is entirely hand sewn, and fits a small to medium size woman.

Unsigned acrylic/oil portrait of a woman worker acquired from a Hong Kong auction. I am assuming this was painted while China and Russia were still friends so would date this pre 1960. Good example of Socialist Realism (girl meets tractor) kitsch, W: 35cm/13.8in and H: 45.cm/17.8in.

Lovely Chinese basket most likely woven by the Zhuang or another of the many ethnic minorities in Guangxi Zhuang, China where I bought this over 20 years ago. This woven from split reed stalks and has a nice soft feel to it. This piece is quite old, 50 to 100 years (best guess). It has an unusual trapezoidal/oval shape and I like it for its sturdy simplicity. Minor unraveling of some of the weaves here and there but in very good condition given it age...

This 19th Century traditional Han Chinese robe would have been used for winter wear. It uses dark black satin weave silk fabric, and has very wide cuffs with floral embroidery and the shape is trimmed out with a floral silk ribbon. The coat has its original buttons and fabric loop closures...and has original lining.

SOLD This is a beautifully embroidered Chinese silk fan case, done almost entirely in the Peking knot technique, sometimes called "blind stitch." Both sides of the piece have been embroidered. Areas of the decoration have been skillfully raised to create a "3-D" effect. The embroidery is in exceptional, unfaded condition. Please note that one edge of the case is open, suggesting that the stitching has possibly come undone. Two rosy-pink glass beads are secured to the attached cord...
