SOLD Chinese cloisonné and bronze figure of a standing cockerel. Flourishes of elaborate plumage are decorated with scrolling vines and tiny circles of colorful enamel on a turquoise blue ground. The feet of the rooster are connected to the lid of an oval shaped box which is decorated to match the cloisonné on the body of the rooster.

The gold gilt vases are mirror image and each is decorated with a panel featuring a bird on a flowering branch; the opposing side having a panel with a butterfly hovering over flowers. The ornate brown background with gold wires features a floral pattern to include large chrysanthemums. In excellent condition they measure 7.5" high x 4" diameter.
