This attractive small porcelain dish was made during the Kangxi reign (1662 - 1722) of the Qing dynasty. The decoration features a lady and a boy playing in a garden. The rim is decorated with geometric and floral patterns. Around the underside rim are four "precious objects". To the base is the four-character mark of the earlier Ming dynasty Chenghua reign (1465 - 1487).
