Good Ming Dynasty, Khotan jade carving of a flower. This was used as a button or clothing decoration- an authentic genuine Ming piece- difficult to get these days. D: 4.1cm/1.2in x thickness 1cm/.4in, weight 24 grams. A few “flea bites” on the edge of petals and original inclusion following the carving, noted in enlargements. Free shipping.

1930's Chinese Hardwood Carved God of Fortune Figure Signed

It is 21.5 inches (54.7 cm) tall by 6.7 inches (17 cm) wide. It is 7.7 Lb.

It has been repaired (glued back) at the child's hand. It also has cracks, small chips, stains, sticker residue at the back, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Conservatoire Sakura
The body is composed of two phoenixes, the heads of the birds naturally forming the handles. The stone is very hard, green speckled with translucent white. The cover is also formed of 2 birds, it is not pierced so it is possible that it is not a censer, although it can be used without a cover. It is placed on a finely carved hardwood base. There are some numbers stamped inside, probably so as not to mix up the bases. China 20th century around the 70s. Good condition...

17th Century Chinese Celadon Color Jade Deep Carved Plaque with Duck on Wood Stand

It is 5.3 inches (13.5 cm) tall by 3.9 inches (10 cm) wide measured with stand. The plaque is 3.1 inches (8 cm) in length by 3.9 inches (10 cm) wide. It is 179.2 gram including stand.

It has small chips, inclusions, and the plaque is glued to the stand (as seen in the photos).

Conservatoire Sakura
Small hard stone vase, probably jadeite. Pale green color spotted with white and bright green with brown veins. The polish of the stone is rather matte than shiny. Finely carved hardwood base. Chinese work 19° or early 20° century. The dull polish of the stone would lead us to date it to the end of the Qing or earlier. Good condition, no restoration, the veins of the stone are not glued and are solid. Total height: 14cm. Vase without the base 11cm.

The Schadle Collection
From the rind on the back this appears to have been carved from a pebble. The craftmanship is superb being the best I have ever seen in soapstone carving. The hand carved stand is very light in weight, but it does look like Zitan wood. Size: 4 5/16 inches high without the base Condition: small cracks which appear to be original. The wooded peg is broken that holds it to the stand. Please let me know if you would like any additional photographs or information...
