A well-carved nephrite jade plaque depicting a coiled, sinuous dragon paired with a phoenix and spiral-incised "bi" disc. The phoenix and "bi" disc have been covered with a gold lacuer gilding. Intricate, flowing spiral decoration covers the dragon's body and the disc. The piece measures 3-3/4" end to end and is, as best I can tell, made entirely without the use of modern cutting tools...

A good quality and well carved She shaped (韘型佩) nephrite pendant, decorated with dragon and phoenix. Han style, but we believe that it was carved later, maybe Qing Dynasty. Condition: Good antique condition, natural veins, brown and dark inclusions, please see photos for details. Length: a little less than 3 inches.

A hollowly carved pebble nephrite pendant depicting a monkey on a branch. Late Qing to early Republic period. The pendant is in good condition, please refer photos for color and details. Length: 2 inches.

A Chinese seal, reddish-brown soapstone, all around with engraved little landscapes and a coiling snake on top. Chinese probably auspicious characters to one side. The name of the owner, Bettina, is carved both in Chinese and Latin lettering. Height "3 1/3/ 8.5 cm. Condition: fine.

Wood, with multiple superimposed polychrome pigments, meant to enhance the mask features, of which part is painted on paper glued to the mask. China, early 19th C. Height: 33 cm.
