Massive Chinese late Qing dynasty finely carved root wood figural group mounted on a tripod root wood stand featuring a central bearded immortal in a dancing or running pose flanked by two attendants. The immortal holds a gourd in one hand and an unidentified object with an animal head in the other hand.
