This is a genuine, archaic Chinese nephrite axe or Gui scepter. The surface has the expected smooth, "waxy" feel to it. The end is sharpened (which leads me to think it was made as a prestige axe as opposed to a scepter, although the literature seems to view pieces such as this one as either/both an axe and a Gui scepter; e.g. Rawson in Chinese Jade - I've included photos of the pieces listed there for reference)...

You are considering a rare and beautiful Archaic Chinese Jade Scepter or Tablet, "Gui," dating to circa 2000BC. The piece measures 7.5 inches (18.5cm) in length and is, as one would expect, carved (drilled and polished) entirely by hand. As the photos will show, the stone is predominantly a gray-green nephrite, with some areas of darker brown. There are "striations" visible on the surface, which may indicate that the piece had been wrapped in a cloth/textile, which left an imprint...

Two pairs of nephrite /spinach jade footed cups or goblets, one pair smaller than the other. Chinese, early 20th century. The cups of bell-shape, the stems conical, the only decoration being a line between stem and cup, creating the impression of a seam or joint. Height: "3 ¼ and “4 / 8 and 10 cm respectively. Condition: fine, with the exception of a minimal nick to the foot rim of one of the smaller goblets that can be felt but not seen, could be polished away.

This is an exceptionally well carved authentic neolithic jade axe, or possibly an amulet, considering its size. The piece measures some 5-3/4" in length (14.5cm)and is just over 2" at the highest point. The stone is a grayish-green nephrite with some calcification. The "blade" is unsharpened, although polished to a tapering edge from both sides of the piece. The three holes were formed by a conical drill from one side only. This piece is guaranteed to be archaic to the original purchaser.

This is an authentic nephrite jade huang carved, as one would expect, entirely by hand, done in a translucent pale greenish-gray jade with russet inclusions. It measures some 5-1/2" (14cm) end to end and is in excellent condition given its great age. This is an awesome, excellently carved Urn made from Celadon Nephrite Jade with Mutton Fat and Russet inclusions.

It is carved with a Xiezhi (Justice Beast) motive. This is fine example of a white nephrite jade Thumb Archer's Ring, with a Taotie theme: symbols and figures carved in high relief all around the surface of the ring. It was apparently used to some extent because it shows a few very small impact scars on its edges, as well a hairline crack on its outside surface, but it is in solid condition, with well defined carved symbols . Other similar examples date to the Chinese Qing period.

Greatly preserved original condition.
