Very Rare Chinese Warring States Lacquered Wooden Ear Cup

This very rare survivor is a lacquered wooden "ear cup" (a food or wine vessel) from the Warring States period (475 - 221 BC). It has been coated in a dark brown, red and pale yellowish lacquers with geometric patterns to the "ears" and inner mouth. Ear cups from this period tend to be larger and with more elaborate handles (or "ears") than those from the later Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 8).

A rare blue and white Yi vessel or milk pouring vessel decorated with phoenix flight among the clouds. Condition is very good, no any chip, no any crack and entirely free from any restoration. Yuan Dynasty 13th-14th Century. Diameter: 13,8 cm. Found at the Riau of Anambas Island.

A finely and rare small Yuhuchunping in well balance thinly potted and octagonal shaped, decorated with the plum blossom and lovely crescent moon. It's the first time to found with this decoration and with underglazed red as well, usually just with a swirling Dragon. Condition is very good, no any chip, no any crack and free from any restoration. Late Yuan Dynasty in the middle of the 14th Century. Height: 12,5 cm.
