An archaic style vase with crackle-glaze and simulated metal mounts. On the base is the apocryphal mark of the 15th Century Chenghua emperor but this item was made much later, probably for export, during the reign of the Tongzhi emperor (1862-1874). A delicate and finely hand painted Chinese export Famille Rose porcelain tea bowl of ogee shape. Qianlong period (ca. 1780). Top rim decor is blue under glaze with a tiny colored flower in the center of the tea bowl and the outside has famille rose enamels depicting a fawn/deer and delicate pastel flowers with branches. Size: 3" (7.4 cm.) x H. 1 3/4" (4.3 cm.) Condition: good with some minor rim frits.

Japanese limited edition sosaku hanga “kappa-ban” (stencil print) of a samurai titled “Tobacco Pipe” (Kiseru) by Yoshitoshi Mori (1898-1992). The warrior grasps his sword with one hand and holds his smoking pipe with the other. The print is pencil-signed “Y. Mori,” dated ’86, and numbered 11/70. Antique Japanese fune tansu (ship safe box), made of hinoki (Japanese cypress) and sugi (cryptomeria) woods with kiri (paulownia) wood on inside of drawers, heavy iron hardware including cross bracing on both the front and back, heavy iron hinges on door, interior has 6 drawers of different sizes two of which have iron lock plates, warabite shaped drawer pulls and handle on top, Edo Period (late 18th/early 19th century). Size: 16 1/2" high x 16" wide x 17" deep.

Kangxi Period (1662-1722) Chinese Blue and White Porcelain tea or liquor cup depicting slender ladies dancing "Long Elizas". Size: 6 cm. diameter x H. 3.5 cm. Nice condition, high resonance when tapped, tiny rim chips (flea bites), otherwise no hairlines, cracks nor repairs.

Early 18th Century, KANGXI to YONGZHEN Period Blue and White Octagonal Porcelain Wine Cup and matching Saucer hand painted in blue under glaze with scrolls and lotus flowers. Both the cup and saucer have a pretty flower center medallion and the rims are decorated with a diaper border. Condition nice, saucer has flea bites/one filled rim chip (could be professionally perfected), otherwise no hairlines or restorations. Size: Saucer 4" (10 cm.) diameter, Cup 2 1/4" (5.75 cm.) diameter.

3 Perfectly matching octogonal blue and white Chinese KANGXI or YONGZHENG Period wine or liquor cups. Early 18th Century. All 3 have a central medallion with an open lotus flower and scroll. The outside is equally decorated with delicately hand painted lotus scroll work and flowers. The rims have a nice diaper border. Condition: very good, no chips, hairlines nor restorations. An extremely rare set of bronze figures depicting Krishna and his wife Radha. Very well proportioned and extremely finely engraved. Made in Orissa, India in the 17th or 18th century. A perfectly matching pair of Chinese QIANLONG blue & white hand painted tea bowls with scalloped edges. Description:

A bronze Shakyamuni buddha was kept in very good condition.
Had been gilt on the surface but just faded, there are only traces left in the pleats.
It was rarely found that the under cover at the bottom was original when tickling sound was heard inside the hollow base.
It hinted that the original devotion items were still kept within after 600 years.

A 17th – 18th century Neko-tora Tiger by Nagasaki school artist Watanabe Shuseki performed with ink and color on paper in yellow bronze silk border with bone rollers. The parchment is aged and gray, giving the sense of a wall painting in some ancient tomb. The scroll is 14 x 63 inches (36.5 x 160 cm).
