The pebble textured surface and straight lines of the side are juxtaposed by the irregular and angular patterns of silver, like the outline of stones leading to a temple cast in shadow across the sides. A translucent nephrite jade "bi" of a very light cream color (off-white). Both the front and reverse are beautifully carved with the same design of a variety of "curl" designs. Period: (17th- 18th Century) Size: Outer Diameter = 2-1/4" Condition: Perfect. Color in photo has a blue tone but it is actually white.
