Chinese 19th Century Famille Verte Porcelain Pillow, Ca. mid to late 1800's, 9 3/4" wide-front, 6" deep, 6 3/8" high-front lower part, with overglaze enamel decorated of double Peacocks on the mosey rocks draped by Plum tree branches and flowers in the front lower part. Couple Swans with giant Lotus flowers and Pods in the backside of the higher part, and bottom is not decorated, shows orange peel surface. Chinese bowl, to one side Famille rose decoration of Peony in Famille rose colours (the flowers in gilt) in the “boneless” style of Yongzheng and to the other a buddhist emblem. Probably late 19th century, the base with an iron red seal mark, difficult to decipher. Diameter "4/ 10,5 cm, height "2/ 5 cm. Condition: a 1 mm glaze flake to the rim, otherwise fine.

Japanese miniature black Raku Tea Bowl or Chawan in signed wooden box, Ca. 1980, the tea bowl measures 1 3/8" high, 2 1/8" diameter-top rim, impressed mark "Raku near the bottom and also top and inside the box, enclosed the paper information of the area of the kiln and how they made. Kiln crack on the white clay area where the impressed mark is located, but not on the black glaze inside the bowl.

An armorer's tsuba, with very slightly raised rim on the strong, flat iron plate. Pierced decoration of a shrimp with pleasing, subtle swell along the antennae and legs (mostly on the ura.) An Oribe Dai-hachi footed basin by Koie Ryoji enclosed in the original signed wooden box. It is 11 x 7-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches (28 x 19 x 9 cm) and is in excellent condition. A few pre-firing chips are shown in the close-ups, glaze over-running theedges proof that they happened before the piece was fired.

A set of five sencha steeped tea tea cups by the first Suwa Sozan decorated with three seasonal or auspidcious fruits and a poem by famed literatus Tomioka Tessai enclosed in the original signed wooden box. Each cup is 2-1/4 x 2 inches (5.7 x 5 cm) and is in fine condition.
