SOLD Chinese porcelain blue and white cup, shaped in resemblance to a Tibetan butter lamp. Adorned with bold and complex designs of lotuses, scrolling vines, and eight Sanskrit characters along the outer sides. The interior design is of an eight petal flowering motif surrounded by double rings. The tall foot flares dramatically with a raised ring near the base of the cup, with motifs of draping pendants. Mark Qianlong (1736-1795).
