Antique Japanese Red Raku Tea Bowl (Chawan) made by Waraku during Meiji period (1868-1912).

Made in Utsushi (ship design) style, its shape resembles the famous Seppo bowl, an important cultural asset, made by Honami Koetsu which is located in the Hatakeyama Memorial Museum of Fine Art in Tokyo.

Waraku started producing Raku wares around 1830 in Kyoto and now Motoo Kawasaki is the 8th generation of Waraku.

Antique Japanese vase decorated with scroll vine motifs around the mouth of the vase and animal like figures near the mid-section of the vase. Antique Japanese Wakizashi sword with a gorgeous, black lacquered scabbard, the tip of which is edged in iron with gilt designs of flowers, matching the tsuba (hand guard) and the tip of the handle. Yamamoto Baiitsu(1783-1856) was a Japanese Nanga/literati style painter of the late Edo period (1603-1868). Studied painting with famous painter Cho Gessho（1772-1832）. Baiitsu was excellent at painting flowers and birds. In his later years, he remained as the official painter of the Nagoya clan.
