Military horse and soldier,the soldier wearing a helmet and the horse wearing a kind of harness. Lovely piece in the typical style of the Northern Qi Dynasty (550-577). Height 34,5 cm. Good condition. Comes with a thermoluminescence test from Ralf Kotalla.
Northern Song Dynasty Celadon bowl (Chinese or possibly Korean) with incised flower design. Nice green glaze and symmetrical shape. There are no chips or cracks. Note a couple of flaws within glaze. Diameter: 7.5 inches; height: 3 inches.

Lovely small meiping from Northern China, circa 1000CE- possibly Liao.. I have repaired it with epoxy and 23k gold leaf (wabi sabi kintsugi). This is a high fired gray stoneware dipped in a white slip and then fired with translucent overglaze. Condition as is, attractive wood stand included. :11.8cm/4.7cm and D: 7.2cm/2.9in.
Small northern Song Dynasty celadon plate decorated with lotus leaf pattern to underside. In good condition other than some wear to glaze due to use and age and small chip to glaze on rim. Nice symmetrical shape. Diameter: 5.50 inches; Height: 1.50 inches.

Fine old lacquerware antique, cylindrical box, possibly Karen or Shan, from North Thailand, with rattan bindings, these are becoming increasing difficult to find these days. Some loss of lacquer on the surface. H: 15cm/5.8in and D: 7.3cm/2.8in.
In bhumisparsa mudra. Quite rare because of the openwork stand with elephants. 16th century or possibly earlier. H. 20,5 cm. Minor damage to the stand and to the ushnisha. Lovely agewear and patina. Rare item. From a Dutch private collection.

A very unusual three sided vase by Miyashita Zenji covered in pale glaze with vertical stripes of color enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Deisai Kaki and titled kizashikaze (Sprouting wind). What makes this vessel quite unique is the use of vertical design.
