A very rare antique Buddhist miniature knife/dagger with a bronze gilt figure as handle, 19th Century, Thai or Burmese. The sheath is hand carved wood and has script on both sides. Vintage miniature Persian painting on marble of a Mughal court scene. Framed and in excellent condition, it measures 8" x 10". Painting sight size is 3.5" x 5.5". Photographed through glass, the colors are rich and vibrant.

Small "ghau", the front side, made of bronze, is decorated with a foliage and lotus design, the box itself ans its lid being made of copper with bronze handles. The "ghau" contains a tiny bronze statue of Bodhisattava Manjusri and textile. Fine age patina. A leather cord allows attachement of the "ghau" to a belt. Tibet, 19th century. Very good condition.
