Early 20th Century Large Black-Lacquered Mother-of-Pearl Box, in fair condition with much loss of the mother-of-pearl. The brass hardware is old but is not original. 31.5 x 18.5 x 16.5 inches, 80 x 47 x 42 cm.

A large blue and white plate, the well with peony and other flowers within a thin quatrefoil line, the border with keyfret and flowers. Early Qianlong, c 1740. Diameter "10¼/ 26,5 cm. Condition: a hairline, rim frits and a chip (cf. pictures).

Large monochrome blue mazarin porcelain bowl. 18th century Chinese work. The white hard porcelain is coated with a beautiful deep cobalt blue glaze. It is presented on its wooden base, also Chinese, which is either original or made during the 19th century. The base is left unglazed. No mark. A chip on the edge followed by a crack. DESCRIPTION: A large antique porcelain plate, well decorated with a mythical Kylin gazing upward at a large bird perched in a pine tree. The decoration is in underglazed blue with a clear glaze containing a faint blue tint. The base is unglazed and unmarked showing the finely grained paste. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs; wood stand not included. DIMENSIONS: 11 1/4” diameter (28.5 cm) x 2 1/8" high (5.4 cm).
