These small cups were used for the sake of examination of water at the tea ceremony called "Tocha/Japanese, Gedou cha/Chinese".
This type is called 禾目天目"Nogime Tenmoku"in Japan and
called 兎毫盞 ”Hare'fur"in China.

Rare Chinese Yuan Dynasty Black Pottery Horse
This small and attractive pottery model of a horse was made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). It is quite "heavily-potted" and made from a black pottery with a smooth burnished surface. Conservatoire Sakura
$700.00 Brooch or fibula? very thick cast copper alloy. Hot gold with mercury. The gilding is very thick. It is very well preserved and is only worn on the ends of the reliefs as can be seen in the photos. Three black stones are set. The stones are very worn by shocks or degraded by time?
Two holes are drilled on either side of the center.
The correct color is that of the first photo where we see the greenish gilding.
Interesting jewel certainly very old several centuries.
