A large porcelain barbed bowl decorated with flowers, birds, fingered citrons, bamboo and other motifs with famille rose enamel and gilt in Imary style. 18th century, Kangxi period. Condition: glaze scratches, enamel and gilt losings; rim glaze bursts as commonly seen on Kangxi wares, plus a few small glaze chips on the rim and one very short kiln crack. A small square gold lacquer Japanese incense container with rounded corners. The lid is decorated with a relief of waves and rocks, inlaid in mother-of-pearl and lead. Interior and base with nashiji, the rims covered with lead. Later tomobako. Dimension: c. 9.5 cm x 7.5 cm x 2.5 cm. Condition: few traces of usage, a tiny chip (see photo No. 2 at 2 o'clock).

Chinese Export Famille Rose and Blue deep Saucer Dish, Mother and Children in the Courtyard playing, Ca. 18th Century, Qianlong Period, 4 5/8" diameter, 3/4" high, overglaze Famille Rose design of mother and children in the courtyard with dog in the center, incised white flowers and leaves wrapped by underglaze blue many small circle design of cartouches. Tiny bubble popped in the kiln during firing on the upper right side about smaller than 1/16" wide, other than that the condition is good.

An Edo period image of plums blossoming on thick branches by Kitayama Kangan. Ink on paper in a patterned cloth mounting with beige piping in the Mincho style so popular int eh 19th century and featuring bone rollers. It is 21-1/2 x 78-1/2 inches (55 x 199 cm). Some minor loss to the piping at the top of the scroll, otherwise in surprisingly good condition.

Chinese Export Porcelain Famille Rose Mug, Tankard, Ca. 1736-1795, 6 1/2" high, 3" diameter-top rim, 5" wide include handle, Famille Rose bouquet of Flowers in the shaped urn or vase with low relief dots near the top rim and bottom and twisted handle.
