19th Century Japanese Porcelain figure of Kintaro in court attire in the style of a Gosho Ningyo (Palace Doll) holding a Crane. Kintaro loved all birds and animals. This rare porcelain figure is signed by Makuzu, a well recognized porcelain artist who is collected by museums and collectors in Japan. Chinese late Qing to early Republic period ceramic modeled container shaped like a "ha ma," or toad, with a hollow body and flat base covered in a monochrome pearl glaze with a seeded finish. Size: 32 1/2" high x 38" wide x 18" deep.

A pair of Japanese lacquered iron abumi (stirrups) decorated with gold lacquer on a roiro ground with dragonflies (some with aogai inlay) within scrolling leaf background, the interior in red lacquer, different necks, some chips, cracks (on red) and retouching. Edo period (17th/18th century). 11 1/2" high, 4 3/4" wide, 12 3/4" long.

A very finely decorated Imperial wine cup depicting two iron-red five-clawed dragons, over breaking waves, in pursuit of flaming pearls. The base carries the underglaze blue seal mark of the Daoguang Emperor and was made during his reign (1821-1850). There is a 4cm hairline running from the rim . There is also a small rim chip above the tail of one of the dragons and there are two tiny rim nibbles (Please see pictures). Height - 4.7cm Diameter - 5.9cm
