Beautiful Chinese small silk purse, salmon colored silk sewn into intricate raised pattern with metallic thread, silk lining on inside, sewn onto each side is a beautiful carved white jade butterfly 2 3/4" wide. The purse cord is braided metallic thread with three carved linked white jade rings on end. Republic Period (although jade is probably older). Purse is 5 1/2" wide.

An antique Chinese porcelain water coup glazed in a baby blue hued glaze. The bottom of the coup contains an inscription reading: Da Qing Guanxu Nianxin or Produced During the Reign of Emperor Guangxu , age 1875-1908. Size: Diameter 4" Height 1.3"

An interesting Chinese jade carving of a bush washer in the form of a buddha hand citron. The citron is carved in a way where it is creating a circle in the middle. The top of the citron contains a carving of a bat. Age: 20th century Size: length 2.75" width 2.8" height 0.5"

Beautiful women's vintage silk cheongsam (or qipao) dress with gold trim and satin borders. It has water droplet shaped fasteners with gold swirls within, mandarin collar, and slits on either side. The first style of qipao emerged in the Qing Dynasty when the Manchu social group called the Banners came to be. All Han Chinese under the banner were forced to dress in qipao instead of traditional Han dress. The original qipaos were baggy and loose to conceal a woman's body, however in 1920s Shangha...

Chinese crackle glaze porcelain statue of a seated Quan Yi, the bodhisattva of compassion. She holds her hands clasped in prayer or meditation and wears long, white robes with a hood pulled over her head. She is seated upon a blue-green glazed pedestal with deep blue and red flecking. This is a wonderful cabinet vase by Gonda. This vase is not signed but Gonda was the master of this style of cloisonne. These wireless iris vases are not only highly desirable, but are also not easy to come by. The vase measures 3 3/4 inches tall. Condition is excellent.
