Antique stone snuff bottle with detailed carvings of a two young, smiling Chinese boys, huddled around a bottle-gourd with a small bird. The bottle has a topper, carved in the shape of a flower bud. Brilliant snuff bottle made of crystal glass with blue, pink, and gold flecked glass spun into the matrix body. The sides and bottom of the bottle have a star design etched into the glass, and its ameythyst stopper is encircled by its silver toothed border base. early 20th century Size: 2.75" tall, 2" wide

Antique Chinese snuff bottle made of peking glass (Tao Liao Ping), with an orange background and white and bright green glass overlay, hand carved into the shape of flowers on a vine. The artist would have started with a single-colored glass,dipped the bottle into the white and green glass to create layers, and then carved away the excess. 19th century Size: 2 3/8" tall, 1" wide

A simple one line Chinese calligraphy attributing to Chi Xizhao (1793-1866). The calligraphy reads: The pure jade harmonizing with the gold with the pure wind in the forest of treasure. The work is dated to year of the water boar (approximately 1863), mid spring. Chi Xizhao was a noted Qing Period poet. Chi Xizhao was a scholar of the xueshi rank during the Jiaqing period. This scroll originally was one of a pair.

Beautiful little snuff bottle made from translucent cream-colored aragonite, a 3.5-4 on the Mohs (hardness) scale, with carvings of a bat (symbol for good luck) with a strand of Chinese coins (means "fortune before your eyes" when paired with a bat). Republic period c1920 Size: 2.75" long, 1" wide

Chinese porcelain snuff bottle in the likeness of a playful lion, also known as 'Shi' or 'Foo Dog', with a yellow body, light green tail and mane, brown, bushy eyebrows, and chewing on a xiù qiú ball with flower designs and a green ribbon tied around it. The front of the xiù qiú is the opening to the snuff bottle and has a Jade stopper. 19th century Size: 3" long, 1" wide
