Chinese porcelain vase with a glaze known as flambe, a red glaze vase with blue underglaze flecks and a brownish yellow glaze around the mouth and bottom, as well as where the neck and body meet. It has a light blue glaze inside. 19th Century Size: 6" height, 3.25" width

This is a beautiful wire and wireless Japanese cloisonne vase. Though it is not signed, it was made by Gonda Hirosuke during the Meiji Era, circa 1910. Other identical pieces exist that are signed Gonda. Very few of these wireless fish vases were made by Gonda. The vase is in excellent condition and has silver rims. It was created before Japan began stamping rims with the "jun gin' silver mark in the early 1900's. It stands 7 inches tall and is 7 inches wide.

This is really an exquisite piece of Japanese Satsuma. It is signed by Seikozan who was one of the finest satsuma artists. The pot is not overly large being 6 inches tall and 6 1/2 across including the spout/handle. The Condition is fabulous. This is a great piece of Satsuma especially at this price.

Framed Chinese 18th century imperial blue ground gold dragon kesi fragment. This twisted gold dragon is surrounded by five color lingzhi shaped clouds. Dragon robes for the emperor contain nine dragons on them and this fragment pretty much sure is the front badge because of the empty space at the upper left corner where is to reserve for the edge to do extra work and decoration to sew buttons to the side of the robe. Chidori plovers soar between warm green clouds draped over the rim of this Oribe style bowl by Kitaoji Rosanjin enclosed in a double wood box (Nijubako) annotated by Living National Treasure Kaneshige Toyo. On the bottom of the bowl is the star mark of Rosanjin, which he used to mark pieces made for his restaurant. The bowl is 16.5 cm (6-1/2 inches) diameter and in excellent condition.
