A hirado ware porcelain figure of the mythical creature baku, the dream eater. This beast is a chimera with the features of an elephant, an ox, a rhinoceros and a tiger. The expert artist hand-carved every detail of the figure with fine lines, the flames and spines along its back carved in high relief. The glaring eyes are left bare with black pupils while the rest of its body is glazed white.

Antique Tibetan gilt bronze statue of a wrathful male and female deity in tantric Yabyum pose. The pair stands on six Naga or snakes atop a gilt bronze lotus pedestal, with copper bottom impressed by a four prong vajra. Dates from the 19th century.

Chinese hardstone lidded vase carved with scrolling dragon head handles and freely moving rings. The lid has a pointed finial with natural black pebble coloration. The foot of the container is slightly flared and recessed. The natural pink and grey tones of the stone give the appearance of heavenly clouds, which are traditional motifs associated with dragons.

A Japanese bronze ritual brazier from the Muromachi period. It has an even tonal verdigris patina throughout the object. The scalloped edge lip is decorated with alternating Ruyi cutouts and continuous curved lines.

Unusual Japanese single section isho tansu from the Sendai region, made of solid Keyaki (zelkova) hardwood with burl front panels. The iron hardware and mounts have floral motifs throughout. The corner plates have scalloped edges, the drawer pulls are mokko (melon) shaped with chrysanthemums mounts, the round lock plates are incised with Kiri leaf mon and two are outlined with scrolling vine motifs. A pair of Chinese antique monochrome Clair de Lune glaze porcelain vases set on a decorative hardwood stands. A small gold leaf repair is done to the lip of the vases in the Kintsugi style.
