Two Genuine SONG Period, SAWANGKALOKE-SISACHANALAI, SIAMESE-THAI iron brown glazed jarlets, both with 2 intact loops and horizontal incised ringed ribbing towards the top, 14-16th Century. This attractively-shaped bottle, with its wide body, constricted neck, and wide mouth, was made during the Warring States period (475 - 221 BC). It is "heavily-potted" and made from a fine-grained grey pottery with a smooth burnished surface..

Height 14 cm. Overall condition is very good although there is what appears to be a filled firing crack to the shoulder of the bottle.

Small Chinese Tang Dynasty Pottery Recumbent Horse

This small pottery model of a recumbent horse was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). It is made from a buff-coloured pottery that has been "cold painted" in a white pigment. Note the detail of the horse's mane and its legs tucked under its body. Length 14 cm. No obvious sign of any repair - good condition.

Japanese vase of convex shape, Totai decoration of a bird and a butterfly among leaves and berry bushes. The motif created by thin metal threads is filled in with colored lacquer and polished. The brown lacquer background is carved as to resemble tree bark (totai).
