Chinese Qing dynasty Nanking ware bowl decorated around the center in underglaze blue with figures in a landscape setting of mountains, trees, traditional huts, and boats on a lake. The flaring top rim and base have brown incised bands that are characteristic of brown etched wares produced between 1880 and 1920. $350.00 Chinese Qing dynasty rectangular form hardwood stand with four inward curving legs resting upon small balls. The stand is carved on the curved apron with vines and lingzhi fungus. Top: 17” long (about 18” at apron) x top: 10” wide (about 11 1/4" at apron) x 7” high. Weighs 6 lbs. 19th century. The stand was more recently refinished and is in very good overall condition. Magnificent large Northern Thailand red and black lacquer box with foliate and floral scroll pattern, circa late 19th to early 20th century, most likely produced at a Chiang Mai workshop. Very light weight original top and bottom, best example I’ve seen in over 20 years. There is craquelure as is typical from antique Southeast Lacquer and very small color and lacquer loss due to use, please examine close ups. D: 26cm/10.1in and H: 10cm/4in.
Chinese Jin to Yuan dynasty Cizhou oval form stoneware wine bottle with four lug handles below the short, everted rim. The upper body is covered in a creamy white crackled slip and is separated from the lower iron-brown section by a narrow horizontal band. Found in the Philippines.
Model of a lion seated on a tall rectangular plinth with a tubular holder and is covered in a white glaze.
Measurements: height (2.9”inches).
Condition: some soil stains on the glaze but can still probably be removed with thorough cleaning. No cracks, no chips, no restorations.
