A Porcelain flambe Ox Blood water pot that was used by a Chinese Scholar during the late Ching Dynasty. This pot has streaks of black in the glaze and a crackle glaze in the interior and bottom. During the late 19th Century, glazes of this color could not be controlled in the kiln, and many pieces had to be broken from the kiln.
