Pair of solid cast mixed metal buttons representing different means of Japanese locomotion from the late 19th century. They are made of silver and shakudo inlaid with gold sentoku and silver. Some small details are in solid gold (dresses, petals, barriers) others are in gilded copper. The silver faces and hands are a bit worn as shown in the pictures. Real little jewels. Tall Chinese Tang Dynasty Painted Pottery Foreigner Figure

A sweetmeat dish consisting of 1 central hexagonal dish surrounded by 6 fan-shaped dishes. Each dish has a straight side and is decorated in the center with one of the seven gods of good fortune, shichifukujin in overglaze enamels and gold on cream colored stoneware. The central dish holds the image of the only female member of the shichifukujin: Benzaiten.

A jewel, reliquary pendant. The receptacle is silver embossed, the cover is copper with mercury gilding embossed decoration of Buddhist emblems. A coral bead is set in the center. A ring is provided for a suspension cord. The part opposite this ring is a hollow cylinder. It is possible that there was another mobile part now lost? Antique Chinese small, carved boxwood container in the form of a lotus pod. A millet-like seeding plant entwines the lotus pod, it's elegant stalks acting as handles on the side and lid of the container.

Age: Republic Period (early 20th century)

Dimensions: 1 3/4" high x 3 1/4" long x 2 3/4" wide

Description: A small jade piece was carved as a ram.
It was an excellent piece by great carving skill.
It was stringed as a hanging necklace with old amber beads.
Date:18th Century, Qing Dynasty.

Even though I dated it as a Qing 18th C. piece. But from several characteristics (as follows), it was most likely  a piece before Song periods.
