A very unusual and extremely rare ink cake in the form of a crouching dog, circa 1800. A beautiful sapphire blue Qianlong period (1736-1795) small wasted and broad shouldered jar. The cobalt blue mimics the old heap and pile effect of the earlier Ming dynasty.
