Although not very clear, round the lower inner surface there appears to be a floral (?) pattern using a glaze-resisting method. This rare and interesting shallow bowl / dish was made during the 14th century. It has a raised "lotus-petal" rim and is coated in an apple-green glaze, save for a broad unglazed stacking ring around its centre. The glaze is somewhat uneven, with runs in places, its colour varying according to its thickness. The glaze is lightly crackled.

A large SONG DYNASTY Period,SAWANGKALOKE-SRICHANALAI SIAMESE-THAI Black-Blue partially glazed Ceramic Bottle, 14-16th Century. It has 2 raised intact nodules to the shoulder as well as horizontal incised ring ribbing towards the top. Size: height 15.5 cm. x 12 cm. diameter. The base measures 7.8 cm. Good overall condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, nor restorations whatsoever. This is definitely a seldom found size for this type of ceramic glazed bottle. A real Collector's item!

Rare 4.9cm/1.9in Thai green glazed stoneware bowl from the Sankampaeng kiln circa 15th/16th CE with two fish in the center and scalloped cavetto, there is well done repaired chip on the inner rim noted last enlargement. This is a classic and definitive piece for the Sankampaeng kiln as the incised/impressed fish motif is only found on ceramics from this Thai kiln. There are some blue flambé highlights in the center, probably accidental but quite attractive...
