Six antique bronze opium weights from Burma. The lion-dogs are standing on an octagonal base. The four largest ones having a verification mark in front of the base. Nice patina, the smallest weight with greenish patina might be a different alloy. Weights approx.: 300 g (20 tical), 155 g (10 tical), 146 g (10 tical), 73 g (5 tical), 31 g (2 tical) and 16 g (1 tical). Dimension: largest: 5.9 cm high. Condition: nice patina, traces of age.

Fine Burmese silver box, lid decorated with a male figure surrounded by floral design in high relief descending by geometric design, all 8 sides are also decorated with two female figures and animal cartuches and the base containing calligraphy, late 19th/ early 20th century period. An exceptional Antique PATTANI THAI KRIS,19th Century, with fine waving steel blade, a carved wooden king fisher bird's head handle and golden metal button at the bottom of the handle. An original wooden sheath, total length 21". Good condition overall.

This is an 18th century, or early 19th century Balinese iron buckle, decorated with serpent motifs with gold inlay. There is some age-related rubbing with associated loss to the inlay, as would be expected. There is an inlaid calligraphic inscription to the back of the "fastener," which I have not had translated. The pieces measure, variously, 2-5/8" X 2-1/2" for the buckle, and 2-1/2" X 1-1/2" for the "fastener." The listing is for both pieces.

A cache of 9 very fine old silver coins from the Mon period from which is now Burma. One side has the symbol of the Sun , the other the symbol of a (Srivatsa) Temple. Weight: Total, 87 grams. Average size: Diameter, 2cm.Condition: Very fine.
