ESL Collection
Sold A very rare Chinese yellow glazed bell shape cup (鈴鐺杯) from 18th century, probably Kangxi period. Yellow color is an imperial color, to be used by royal family only. This cup is in perfect condition. Height: 2-3/4"; diameter: 3".
This covered box of a Sawankhalok underglazed black stoneware has an unusual design including six raised bands dividing petal-shaped segments. This type of Sawankhalok ware was produced in Sisatchanelai kilns, Thailand during the fourteenth to fiftheenth centuries. Height: 11 cm. Very good condition. Provenance: Acquired in Singapore in 1990 from MoonGate, owner Mr K. T. Goh, a famous local antique dealer.

This attractively-shaped jar, or bottle, was made during the 13th - 15th centuries at the Sawankhalok kilns. It is coated in a finely-crackled translucent celadon glaze that falls short of the base revealing the stoneware body that has fired to a reddish-brown. Fine Vietnamese 14th / 15th Century Moulded Bowl
This rare bowl was made during the 14th - 15th century and is coated in a finely-crackled yellowish-brown glaze, the depth of colour varying according to its thickness. Around the centre is a wide unglazed stacking ring, and around the inner wall are various moulded leaf and floral patterns. Apart from unintentional glaze splashes, the foot remains unglazed. Diameter 17 cm... Earthenware offering plate depicting Buddha sitting in a niche, his hands in "bhumisparsa mudra". On his right is another Buddha also in a niche. Thailand, Khmer period known as Lopburi, 12-14th century. 84 mm high x 84 mm wide x 17 mm thick. The piece is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Abrasion due to age, otherwise good condition.
