Rare Thai 14th - 15th Century Sawankhalok Celadon Stem Bowl (repaired)

This rare stoneware stem bowl was made at the Sawankhalok kilns around the 14th - 15th century. Both inner and outer surfaces have been profusely decorated with incised bands and lines, with a floral pattern to the inside centre. It is coated with a finely-crackled translucent celadon glaze.

Two Genuine SONG Period, SAWANGKALOKE-SISACHANALAI, SIAMESE-THAI iron brown glazed jarlets, both with 2 intact loops and horizontal incised ringed ribbing towards the top, 14-16th Century. A genuine antique KHMER LIME POT, 12-14th Century, Iron-Brown with incised motifs and horizontal ringed ribbing towards the top/neck. Size: 5" diameter x 3" height (13 cm x 7.75 cm). Condition overall good, no cracks/hairlines nor leaking, but several body chips and on the neck/lip as shown in the photographs.

Provenance: found in the Musi River, close to Palembang City, which was the Capital of the SRIVIJAYA KINGDOM and which had a vast trading network with China and Siam. Rare Vietnamese 14th Century Green Glazed Stoneware Dish

This rare and interesting shallow bowl / dish was made during the 14th century. It has a raised "lotus-petal" rim and is coated in an apple-green glaze, save for a broad unglazed stacking ring around its centre. The glaze is somewhat uneven, with runs in places, its colour varying according to its thickness. The glaze is lightly crackled.

A large SONG DYNASTY Period,SAWANGKALOKE-SRICHANALAI SIAMESE-THAI Black-Blue partially glazed Ceramic Bottle, 14-16th Century. It has 2 raised intact nodules to the shoulder as well as horizontal incised ring ribbing towards the top. Size: height 15.5 cm. x 12 cm. diameter. The base measures 7.8 cm. Good overall condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, nor restorations whatsoever. This is definitely a seldom found size for this type of ceramic glazed bottle. A real Collector's item!

Rare 4.9cm/1.9in Thai green glazed stoneware bowl from the Sankampaeng kiln circa 15th/16th CE with two fish in the center and scalloped cavetto, there is well done repaired chip on the inner rim noted last enlargement. This is a classic and definitive piece for the Sankampaeng kiln as the incised/impressed fish motif is only found on ceramics from this Thai kiln. There are some blue flambé highlights in the center, probably accidental but quite attractive...
