Vietnamese 15th Century Blue & White Double-Gourd Jar

This rare and attractively-shaped small double-gourd jar was made during the 15th century. It is coated in a finely-crackled glaze and elaborately decorated in underglaze blue, the pattern featuring scrolling floral and lotus leaf patterns. Height 7 cm...

A very rare nicely moulded vase with a long ribbed neck that flares to a hexafoil rim. The hexagonal body is moulded with bands of flowers. The lower band has alternating patterns of lotus flowers and lotus leaves. There are two lion masks at opposite sides at the shoulder. The vase is covered in a light olive-grey glaze. Period: Yuan - 13th/14th Century Size: Height = 14.4 cm (5-11/16 inches) Condition: Tiny barely noticeable chip at the rim of the mouth otherwise perfect.

A moulded water dropper in the form of a monkey with baby. White stoneware body with cobalt blue decoration, covered with a transparent glaze. Annamese ware ( Vietnam ) fifteenth century. H : 6,4 cm. Condition: Perfect, with smaller areas of spalling to the otherwise wonderful glossy glaze ( please look at the images ).

Fine Sawankhalok 14th-15th century green crackled celadon glazed bottle. Two vertical rings at neck with incised horizontal decoration at shoulder. Fine condition. High resolution images on request... Height: 4.75 inches.

A Cambodian, brown glaze lime-pot in the form of an owl with molded beak, eyes and tail. Age:,circa. 12-13th Century, Bayon Period. Apart from chip on base, it is in overall good condition. High resolution images may be emailed on request.

Large Thai Sawankhalok round form covered stoneware box in the shape of a mangosteen fruit decorated in iron-black/brown glaze on a buff-colored ground with a zig-zag pattern on the lid and stylized scrolling vines on the bottom. Stem finial. 14th to 16th century. 4 3/4” diameter x 4” high. Very good overall condition. There is a tiny pinhead-sized flea bite on the bottom section at the edge of the rim (see image). The lid matches well and appears to be original...

A beautiful antique Annamese Vietnamese jar with a clear ivory glaze. On the shoulder are 4 applied rosettes between 2 raised lines. Vertical lines extend from the rosettes to the unglazed base. The jar has a short neck and rolled rim. Some imperfections. Annamese refers to Vietnamese porcelain, since Annam was the name of the southernmost province of China after the Tang dynasty. The name is the Vietnamese form of the Chinese name "the Pacified South"...

An antique Vietnamese jar with covered lid with blue under glaze. The lustrous ivory glaze covers the whimsical 3 blue floral images. The bowl's interior center has splotches of blue paint intermingled with a rust colored paint. The rim is unglazed, as is the small footing. The white glazed ceramic censer has a cylindrical body with lappet band above molded trigrams. The vessel is raised on four zoomorphic supports.
