A Very Fine/Rare Korean Early White Glazed Dish-16th C.: Korea, Joseon dynasty, 15th - 16th century. The elegantly potted shallow dish, sharply tapering to a raised foot and with a raised rim, with the interior face bordered with a single line, the both out and insides covered overall in an even greyish white glaze with the base. We like to present you this Korean Hori Mishima tea bowl for the Japanese Tea ceremony, made in the late 16th/early 17th century.

It is a low wan shaped tea bowl. Its expertly thrown body with its lower part was trimmed with a potters knife and shaped into the typical Korean bamboo node foot, creating a chirimen (crepe de chine) effect at the bottom. A Very Fine/Rare Beautiful Evenly White Glazed Porcelain Korean Bowl: Korea, early Joseon period, 18th-19th century, with fitted wooden box. The characteristic deep bowl with a flat interior bottom and recessed well set on a ring foot and with gently everted rim, the base glazed, decorated evenly with a beautiful light blue tinged white glaze, . It’s in very fine condition. it measures 3.5” h. x 6” d. (8.9 cm x 15.3 cm).

Antique Korean pair of small Koryŏ porcelain cups. Elegant form with small feet and sharply flared sides. Fine celadon glaze in pale blue with high transparency. The interiors are a paler translucent glaze. Each cup has a simple blue underglaze dot in the underside of the foot.

There are gold lacquer repairs

This is the only ancient Korean mace ever offered for sale. The few existing examples are all in museums in Korea. It is from the Early Joseon Dynasty, 16th Century or earlier. Only Korea has this type of straight mace with a perfectly round head. And the head is made from iron insets just like the scales on Korean royal armor. 22 inches (46 cm) long, 3.5 inches (9 cm) wide.

"Muji Hakeme Chawan" which is brushed with white engobe over dark color paste containing iron, and then burned with clear glaze. It is made in Korea in 15th to 16th century during the Joseon Dynasty (1392∼1912). It has kintsugi (mending with urushi and gold powder). It has a paulownia matching box. Diameter:17cm Height:7.5cm
