Zentner Collection
SOLD Antique Japanese chop case made of boxwood and carved with a beautiful lady. The Inside of the box is still coated with powdered orange-red seal ink, at the base of the box is a semi circular bead made of amber, the top of the box is closed with a bead of bone and a smaller one of coral, the toggle is the shell of a cone snail, the sea creature hunts with a venomous barb.

Sold, Thank you! A pair of gold screens with bold shishi on genuine gold leaf. It is signed Miyauchi Gohogan Shinsai Fujiwara Morimichi sei and stamped Hogan Morimitsu no In. Each panel is 37-1/4 x 68-1/2 inches (94.5 x 174 cm). The screens have been restored, with some old repairs visible. These appear to be remounted from what is likely a different composition, possibly a set of fusuma doors...

SOLD Antique Japanese jingasa, a special protective hat worn by samurai. It is covered in a special lacquer called "tatake nuri" and is decorated with a star shaped like blades, and delicate carvings around the finial. The underside is lacquered in red with old cloth and string. Edo period (1615-1868)

$430.00 This is Noragi used in the Shonai, Yamagata district for the Meiji period. As for this, cotton is used for the warp. And cotton thread and Koyori-Paper colored into a weft with a natural indigo plant are used.
It is the item which this is called Denti, and a bride brings in the case of a wedding ceremony. This has a hole of 7cm x 9cm (2.7 "x 3.5") to a back. This has some stains, but does not stand out. Size 70cm x 60cm (27.5 "x 23.6")
