Japanese Meiji period Imari porcelain 7 1/4” diameter x 3” deep bowl. The center of the bowl holds a central circular medallion with a stylized floral pattern pattern in underglaze blue (sometsuke). The interior and exterior sides are decorated in underglaze blue and overglaze polychrome enamel with gilt highlights and features three cartouches with flying phoenix birds on a white ground separated by rust-red and gilt medallions holding an animal motif set against a cobalt ground...

A Fukagawa five and 3/8 inch tea saucer dish. Iris decoration from Chuji Fukagawa's own 19th century design book. Blue underglaze and red, yellow and gold overglaze enamel decoration. Mt. Fuji mark in underglaze blue inside the foot ring. Late Meiji or early Taisho. Good condition. Two Zohiko covered rice bowls. Colorful leaf decoration sparsely applied on black ground with almost iridescent effect with gold and silver maki-e and red details. Zohiko marks in gold lacquer inside the bowls' foot rims. 20th century. Bowl diameter 5 1/16 inches (12.86 cm). The bowls each with small lacquer losses along the foot rim. The lacquer otherwise being in good condition with no distress or wear of note. Combine with other pieces from this set to save on shipping.

Japanese Crackle Earthenware small Dish, Plate, 5/8" high, 4 1/4" diameter, with raised white Spring Floral branch decorated on one side. The condition is good, no damages.

Japanese Earthenware Bowl, heavy white splash design on black thick glaze with dark greenish speckles,, 3" high, 5 1/2" diameter-top rim, 2 1/4" diameter-bottom foot rim. Some sand bubbles on the glaze, the condition is good, no damages.

Japanese Kutani Porcelain Plate, Ca. 1930, 8 1/2" diameter, with orange red overglaze design of pair of birds in the lake and highlighted in brilliant gold decoration, red mark on the bottom. The condition is good, some gilt decorations are worn on some areas, no damages.

A Japanese woodblock print of a kneeling male figure drying a shō, a traditional musical instrument of the reed family, a form of mouth organ, over a brazier. The print is attributed to Kitao Masanobu, 1761~1816 and probably dates to the late 18th century.

A good impression with some gauffrage on the kimono collar. The mount is inscribed in pencil “Mafsanobu”.

Approximately 20.3 x 14.4 cm. The print is laid by the edges to thin card. It is foxed at the edges...

A small Japanese mimikuchi shaped vase, with spiral design, used to hold the burn incense sticks. The burner is about 3 7/8" tall x 4" in diameter and dates to the turn of the Century. The condition is excellent/perfect, and it has been polished. The asking price includes shipping within the USA.

Yuzen hinagata (sample book of yuzen-zome) of kosode (kimono with narrow opening of wrists) which is a reprinted edition of Edo kosode hinagata. It has 20 pages and 40 Yuzen-zome kosode designs. The book is made of washi (Japanese handmade paper.) Published by Yoneyama-do in Tokyo in 1926. In excellent condition. 18.5cm x 27cm x 0.5cm
