Very rare 'Akae' (Red painting) plate made of compressed paper as I have never seen such a type during my entire career. Detail and usage unknown. Probably Showa period, 20th century, Japan. D 22.5 x H 3.7 cm (8.85 x 1.45in)...

An early and rarely seen design similar to K11.21 "Two white-fronted geese flying above water" in Crows, Cranes and Camellias: The Natural World of Ohara Koson (Reigle Newland).

An elegant sake set in silver and celadon green over raw clay consisting of a set of guinomi and Tokkuri, perfect or sharing sake, by Masafumi Doi enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Tessaiji Senmon Shuki (Metal Glazed Porcelain Sake Vessels with lines). The cups are 5.5 cm diameter (2-1/4 inches), the same height. The Tokkuri is 11.5 cm (4-1/2 inches) tall and all are in excellent condition...

Old anonymous Japanese oil painting on canvas, attached with well-matched original wooden frame, early-mid 20th century. Frame: 52 x 42.7 x 4.7 cm (20.47 x 16.81 x 1.85in)...

Almost Art Deco in appearance created by natural wood-fired glaze markings. Signed on the bottom. Ca. 1980. 9" tall x 4 1/2" diameter. Excellent condition. Ask for shipping quote.

An intriguing handled cylinder vase by Mori Toshiaki enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Bizen Te-tsuki Hana-ire (Handled Vase). This small vase has been cut spirally down, the resulting ribbon wrapped over the top and affixed to the opposite side forming the handle. It is 18.5 cm (7-1/4 inches) tall and in excellent condition, directly from the artist this summer...

This is beautiful katsugi silk kimono of the Meiji era(1868-1912). It is totally a design of the scenery such as the sumi drawing. This katsugi-kimono is a formal dress. It will be to decorate your room with very Japanese-style peaceful scenery. It is made with good-quality silk of the habutae silk. It has thin stain and damage. However, it does not stand out. size:144cm x 124cm (56.7" x 48.8" )

This is thick hemp Noren of the Meiji period. As for this, words are dyed with black dye. The words are written as Mensa. Probably I think this to be an item of the business to sell noodles. This has several places of thin stains, but does not stand out. The state is good. Size 135cm x 122cm (48 53.1 "x")

This is thick linen Noren used in Shonai area for Edo period. This is dyed with a natural indigo plant densely. As for this, a brown line is cotton. This was used in a merchant's family of Shonai. This does not have a stain and damage. Size 148cm x 91cm (58.2 "x 35.8")

Japanese antique silk shibori Tie-dye & katazome nakagi beautiful kimono Meiji era(1868-1910).It has a few thin stains. Early vintage albumen print of the two large bronze Kannons near the Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo, with children. Numbered in Japanese "277". Mounted on coeval cardboard. Condition: fine, minimally faded, left border of photo with a small loss. Dimension: photo: 21.4 cm x 27.4 cm, cardboard: 34.8 cm x 43.9 cm.

A set of two Japanese porcelain cups and saucers with fine decoration in the Imari palette, underglaze blue, iron red and abundantly gold. Cups with a blossom mark. Condition: fine, saucers with kiln grit residue. Dimension: cup: c. 7.1 diameter, 4.6 cm high, saucer: c. 12.2 cm diameter, 2.3 cm high.
